    Rose & Chris

I’m Rose, the planting and lead pastor of Clay Church.

Clay Church began as a dream God placed on my heart over 15 years ago — a dream to plant a community centred on Jesus, shaped by the Holy Spirit, and deeply connected to one another. As we waited for the right time, Chris and I spent a season living in the United States, I completed a Master of Divinity and trained as a spiritual director, and we also welcomed our two beautiful children.

When the opportunity to move to Brisbane and plant a church here opened up, we stepped through the door with open hands. What has unfolded over the past year has been a gift. We genuinely love the community God is forming.

My greatest passion is helping people encounter Jesus in the middle of real life—in the deep questions, the joys, and the struggles—and creating spaces where faith feels honest, relational, and alive.

We’d love for you to join us as we continue to follow the Spirit’s lead here at Clay Church.
